The ARC Scissors 10/10 Reversible Texturizer is power and control in one motion — engineered to release weight deep within thick, coarse, or heavy hair while maintaining seamless flow and shape. Its 10 wide teeth remove up to 60% of bulk evenly, creating “air within the cut” for movement and lift without disturbing the perimeter line.
Perfect For: invisible layers, adding freedom to dense bobs, long layers, or heavy crowns, it lets you carve space into the hair, not take it away.
Handmade in Japan from ultra-premium ATS314 steel, the 10/10 glides cleanly through dry hair for pure visibility and precision. What Makes It Different:
This is a reversible scissor and can be used from both sides (flipped). Flipping or "reversing" the scissor allows you to cut hair differently with the teeth pointed up or down. This scissor will effortlessly slice and slide-cut through hair with zero drag or pull.
Handle Design:
Butterfly "eyeglass" handle that is precisely carved out to allow for perfect positioning with each of the four basic hand positions. The "eyeglass" handle allows for reversible use making it two scissors in one.
Best Used For:
Thinning and texturizing techniques. This scissor can be used 90 degrees to the hair to remove approximately 60% with each cut, or angled to the hair to remove between 10% and 60%. The angle of the scissor will determine the amount of hair removal with each cut.

All the ARC shears are so well made, that's all I use! This texture shear is very smooth, no drag or pull. Excellent for additional movement and taking out extra weight. I love point cutting with it just to bust up the hard lines!
